The BA Racing Team from the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, Germany, was founded in 2005 and was the first student team of a university of cooperative education at the Formula Student competition.
They had a successful start into the race series, and this success continued for the next four years.
In 2009, the team won first place in the category Special Event in Austria and the fourth place for the skid-pad at Silverstone. The two years before had, among other things, lead to the two second places at Hockenheim in the category BMW Drivetrain and at Silverstone in the skid-pad event.
